Description

  • 1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • 2 cups baby spinach (chopped)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • 2 (8-ounce) tubes crescent rolls
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and lightly oil a pie plate.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped artichokes, spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until well mixed.
  3. Roll out the crescent rolls into a rectangle and spread the artichoke mixture evenly over the dough.
  4. Starting from one end, tightly roll up the dough and cut it into eight pieces.
  5. Place each piece cut-side down in the prepared pie plate. Brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm garnished with fresh parsley.
