Description

Cinnamon Apple Cottage Cheese Bites are a deliciously healthy snack that perfectly blends the nutty flavor of oats, the creaminess of cottage cheese, and the sweetness of apples.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup applesauce or 1 small grated apple
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, oats, applesauce or grated apple, egg, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup (if using), baking powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes to allow the oats to absorb moisture.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the mini muffin pan, filling each cup almost to the top.
  5. Bake for 18–20 minutes until lightly golden and set.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
