- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
- 1 cup chopped pecans, lightly toasted
- Optional: 2 tbsp granulated sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F (175C) and prepare a greased and floured 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients while alternating with buttermilk until just combined; fold in chopped pecans gently.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. If desired, sprinkle cinnamon sugar topping over the batter.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for about 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
