  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter (softened to room temperature)
  • 4 Cups Powdered Sugar (sifted)
  • 1 Tablespoon Whipping Cream (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add lime zest, vanilla extract, whole egg, and egg whites; mix well. Then incorporate lime juice and sour cream.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until smooth.
