- ¼ cup brown sugar (for filling)

- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ⅓ cup brown sugar (for swirl filling)
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon (for swirl filling)
- 2 Tbsp melted butter (for swirl filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 Tbsp milk (for glaze)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter with granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually alternate adding buttermilk and dry ingredients until just combined.
- For the swirl filling, mix brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until thick.
- Layer half of the batter in the pan; add swirl mixture; top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before glazing.
- While cooling, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth; drizzle over warm loaf.
