Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 12 tbsp liquid sweetener (maple syrup or agave)
  • 1 1/2 tsp agar-agar powder
  • 1 cup beet/berry/cherry juice
  • 1/4 cup berry jam

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together orange juice, sweetener, and agar-agar. Let it stand for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. Heat over medium until simmering; whisk constantly for about 2 minutes until thickened. Pour into molds.
  3. Blend beet/berry/cherry juice, berry jam, and additional agar-agar until smooth. Repeat the heating process and pour over the orange layer.
  4. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until fully set before removing from molds.
