  • 16 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter (cubed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, softened butter, sugar, salt, and egg to form a smooth dough. Press this into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Toss apple slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar; layer over the dough.
  4. Beat mascarpone cheese with eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth; pour over apples.
  5. For the crumble topping, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and cubed cold butter until crumbly; sprinkle over the mascarpone layer.
  6. Bake for 75 minutes or until golden brown on top. Allow to cool before serving.
