  • 1/3 cup natural or dutch-process unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons warm milk
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder

Instructions

  1. Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt on low speed.
  4. Mix warm milk with espresso powder, then add to the dough; blend until creamy.
  5. Fill a piping bag with cookie dough and pipe onto lined baking sheets.
  6. Chill the piped cookies for 20–30 minutes before baking in a preheated oven at 350°F (177°C) for 12–15 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool before dipping in melted chocolate and decorating as desired.
