- ½ cup light brown sugar

- 1¼ cups canned pumpkin puree

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–3 tsp milk, as needed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix canola oil and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before making the frosting by mixing cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
