- 2 cups whole milk

- 1 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar

- 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Prepare an 8×8 or 9×9 inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
- Warm the milk until lukewarm and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
- In another bowl, mix egg yolks and confectioner’s sugar until pale. Add vanilla, spices, melted butter, and mix well.
- Incorporate flour and pumpkin puree into the yolk mixture, followed by the warm milk.
- Gently fold in beaten egg whites for fluffiness.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 60-65 minutes until set.
- Allow cooling completely, then refrigerate before serving.
