- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed (1 stick)
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
- In an electric mixer bowl, beat butter and pumpkin puree until mixed; add sugar and continue mixing. Add eggs and vanilla until combined.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternating with milk until just combined.
- Prepare the crumb topping by mixing cold cubed butter with brown sugar, flour, and spices using fingers or a pastry cutter until crumbly.
