- 1.5 lbs (700g) beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1.5 tsp cayenne pepper, adjust to taste
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until translucent, then add minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
