  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp orange zest
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 1/2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • Glaze: 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together orange juice, orange zest, lemon juice, olive oil, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in a gallon-sized resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and massage the marinade into the chicken. Refrigerate for 1 to 6 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  4. For the glaze, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in honey, orange juice, orange zest, BBQ sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  5. Grill marinated chicken for about 4 minutes per side, brushing with glaze during grilling until fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
  6. Serve warm with reserved glaze on top.
