  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 egg
  • Dried herbs (oregano, parsley, or thyme)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine cooked basmati rice with turmeric powder, salt, and pepper. Optionally drizzle in olive oil. Stir over low heat until fragrant.
  2. Steam or sauté broccoli florets until tender yet bright green (about 4-5 minutes).
  3. Soft-boil the egg by boiling for 6-7 minutes, then cool immediately in ice water before peeling.
